“I like that things move and evolve in favor of citizens. I have done a lot to bring back the dialogue between Brossard and the Agglomeration during my previous terms. “

Resident of Brossard since 1962, Daniel Lucier has an impressive track record. No wonder he was awarded the prestigious Order of Merit of Brossard in 1992, recognizing his many accomplishments!

An experienced manager and city councillor from 2005 to 2017, now back since 2021, Daniel Lucier has overseen several committees—including Finance and Urban Planning. He also served as vice-chairman of the board of directors of the Réseau de Transport de Longueuil for four years, in addition to sitting for three years on the as a director on the board of the Montreal Metropolitan Community.

Father of two and grandfather of two, Daniel has been active in Brossard for over thirty-five years. He believes in the importance of sports and recreation in order to ensure the full integration of young people into their community. He has served as instructor, treasurer, and president for organizations including the Brossard Youth Recreation Association, the Brossard Minor Hockey Federation, the RSM Regional Baseball League, the OKPIK Ski Club, and the PVB and Chimo softball leagues. His commitment to supporting young people has also led him to become actively involved in the Optimist Club.

With degrees in administration and IT, Daniel Lucier’s career has been based on three fundamental values: rigor, sound management and transparency. Whether as an assistant advisor in an actuarial consulting firm, an administration manager or a credit manager with a few companies, he has never deviated from his guideline.

Now retired and more available than ever for his fellow citizens, Daniel believes these values help transform the way politics is done.

Commitments

  • Develop the Saint-François and Des Berges Parks.
  • Transform the boulevard into a promenade (street renovation, separated bike and pedestrian paths, landscaping, safer pedestrian crossings, etc.).
  • Provide green spaces with access to the river.
  • Enhance police presence.
  • Strengthen safety measures on the path near the 132.
  • Analyze the potential addition of a dog park.
  • Showcase the history of the first residents.

Defending the principles of rigor and transparency, ensuring sound management of public funds and above all, listening to all stakeholders; this is what I found in my contact with Brossard Ensemble.

« En tant que président du Comité des finances, j’ai contribué à améliorer et à maintenir la santé financière de Brossard. Les résidents sont à même de constater que c’est toujours le cas. »

I want to support the team.

“Since the founding of our party, thousands of people have joined the vast new collective created by Brossard Ensemble.” They contribute in many ways—sometimes as volunteers, sometimes as donors, advocates, candidates, or active members of committees. Their involvement shapes and strengthens our community at every turn.

Team up with these citizens who believe, just like you, in an open and participatory democracy.
