Proudly Brossard

Brossard!

Thank you

“I am proud to rely on a team that has proven its worth. Each elected official, through their dedication, experience, and team spirit, has helped move Brossard forward in tangible ways. Together, we have successfully carried out major projects and built a shared vision that is bearing fruit.”

Together is the key word of our approach. It also applies to those elected. In the interests of citizens, it is important to maintain a climate of collaboration that will allow us to have healthy, fair and objective debates. I am convinced that we will get there ”,

Doreen Assaad proudly presents an experienced team for the November 2 elections.

Brossard, May 22, 2025 — Doreen Assaad, leader of Brossard Ensemble and outgoing mayor, today confirms that seven members of her current team are seeking a new mandate alongside her in the municipal elections on November 2. In a context of many challenges and transformation, this strategic continuity is a guarantee of stability, experience, and coherence for Brossard.

The candidates who are running again are:

  • Christian Gaudette (district 1)
  • Tina Del Vecchio (district 3)
  • Stéphanie Quintal (district 4)
  • Sophie Allard (district 7)
  • Antoine Assaf (district 8)
  • Patrick Langlois (district 9)
  • Daniel Lucier (district 12)

Five new members will join the team. Their candidacies will be announced shortly.

With the electoral boundary changes, some elected officials saw their districts transformed and had to choose between two areas they know well. Others took advantage of this change to get involved where their ties to the community are strongest. In all cases, these decisions were guided by the same goal: to continue representing citizens with closeness, efficiency, and commitment.

The record of the last term speaks for itself: the return of a police station that had been awaited for over 20 years, a multigenerational center built in record time, parks, pools, and sports facilities completely revitalized, sustained vigilance in road safety—and above all, the preservation of one of the lowest tax rates in Quebec, despite inflationary pressures.

“As costs are skyrocketing everywhere, we have stayed the course. This is no accident—it is the result of rigorous leadership, relentless teamwork, and a constant commitment to act in the best interests of our citizens. And this is only the beginning,” concluded the mayor.

Brossard Ensemble continues on its path with conviction, staying true to a simple idea: a well-managed, vibrant, and people-centered city where every generation finds its place.
