An engaged citizen and McGill graduate in Urban Studies, Nicolas is currently pursuing his master’s in urban planning at the same institution. He represents a generation that deeply believes in the power of action by citizens of all ages. He is entering politics convinced that electing a candidate who truly listens to people’s concerns can make a meaningful, long-lasting difference in their quality of life.”
His experience as a political attaché at the office of the MNA for La Pinière (Brossard) gave him first hand insight into the workings of local democracy and an active role on Brossard’s Living Environment Commission. Nicolas stands out through his energy, his ability to mobilize and engage in dialogue, and his determination to represent youth voices in decision-making bodies.
As the author of the very first university research project on Brossard’s New Downtown, he has shed light on the potential growth dynamics as well as public perceptions surrounding this upcoming major urban development. His rigor and critical thinking have contributed to reflections on the city’s planning— to foster an approach aimed at creating more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable living environments in response to Brossard residents’ aspirations.
As an engaged young adult, Nicolas aspires to represent his generation and champion for issues of the future, such as housing accessibility; the quality of life in our neighbourhoods, and the protection of green spaces. He hopes to inspire his peers to fully participate in democratic life, convinced that civic engagement and intergenerational dialogue are essential to building a city that reflects its residents.
Nicolas demonstrates through his actions and ideas that local politics goes beyond speeches: it is embodied in electing representatives capable of reflecting a diversity of voices and priorities. For him, every voter has the power to shape their collective future.

“With Doreen, I look forward to meeting you and most importantly, giving you a voice in everything that matters to you in our city. It will be a privilege for me as a new member of the great Brossard Ensemble team.“
“For me, Brossard is more than just a city designation; it’s a community where every resident—young or old—deserves to have a voice and to actively participate in decisions that shape their neighbourhood and their future. Active engagement means giving a voice to all residents and the organizations that support them, so everyone can feel at home. I commit to putting citizens at the heart of urban development, convinced that our diversity, our openness, and our involvement are Brossard’s true richness and the guarantee of a community where everyone can speak up and influence our collective future.”

“Since the founding of our party, thousands of people have joined the vast new collective created by Brossard Ensemble.” They contribute in many ways—sometimes as volunteers, sometimes as donors, advocates, candidates, or active members of committees. Their involvement shapes and strengthens our community at every turn.
Team up with these citizens who believe, just like you, in an open and participatory democracy.
