Barbara Vafopoulos is an accomplished professional in the field of human resources, where she has worked for nearly 18 years as a senior benefits and wellness analyst.
She holds an honors bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in public policy and public administration (MPPPA) from Concordia University. She has also worked at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, giving her an in-depth knowledge of government services and performance audit principles.
A long-time resident of Brossard, Barbara is driven by a deep desire to contribute to the well-being of her community through her attentive listening, her rigor, and her professionalism. She acts with integrity, encourages openness, and is actively involved in the development and quality of life of citizens.
Deeply involved in Brossard, Barbara is recognized for her ability to bring people together around common goals. Her exemplary commitment makes her a reference in leadership and citizen engagement.

- Transform Lapinière Boulevard to improve its aesthetics and alleviate traffic
- Consult local residents as to the future of the Chevrier parking lot.
- Renovate and illuminate the pedestrian paths and streets.
- Renovation of Grande-Allée and addition of a bicycle path
- Separate the bicycle path from the pedestrian path under the power lines.
- Redevelop Chevrier Park.
