A native of Brossard, it is in this city that Sophie Allard decided to settle with her husband and two young boys. Sophie holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and International Business from HEC Montréal, as well as a master’s degree in Public Relations and Research from Boston University. Very active in the community, she is interested in several social causes, including health, youth and the environment.

She works as an international cooperator with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and takes part in the Inclusive Municipal Leadership Program, helping women in Tunisia get involved and be represented on local councils.

Elected as a city councillor in 2017, her vision is to make Brossard a place where everyone can thrive together. As president of the Environment and Sustainable Development Commission, she aims to make Brossard a green city where quality of life—for today and future generations—is a key priority in every council decision.

Since her re-election in 2021, Sophie has held the role of Chair of the Environment and Sustainable Development Commission, and sits on the Finance Committee, the Sustainable Mobility Committee and the Toponymy Committee.

Her achievements over the past eight years are inspiring examples of citizen engagement and protecting Brossard’s green spaces.

A municipal councilor since 2017, I have worked at the service of my fellow citizens to improve our quality of life. Making Brossard an exemplary model in terms of greening and protecting green spaces is one of my priorities. “

My experience in communication has taught me that the best tools to maintain a dialogue with Brossard residents are listening and respect. I am proud to share these values with the members of the Doreen team.

I want to support the team.

“Since the founding of our party, thousands of people have joined the vast new collective created by Brossard Ensemble.” They contribute in many ways—sometimes as volunteers, sometimes as donors, advocates, candidates, or active members of committees. Their involvement shapes and strengthens our community at every turn.

Team up with these citizens who believe, just like you, in an open and participatory democracy.
